The most important of the Senate committees are Ap¬propriations, Foreign Relations, Finance. Armed Services. Judiciary, Agriculture and Forestry, and Interstate and Foreign Commerce.
  In the Houses of Representatives the most important of the committees are Rules, Appropriations, Ways and Means, Armed Services, Judiciary, Agriculture, Interstate and Foreign Com¬merce, Foreign Affairs, and Government Operations.
